Seamless design from Westag & Getalit
Published:  18 January, 2011

Westag & Getalit is supplying a fully dyed HPL material which allows processors greater flexibility for designing surfaces and edges.

Whether for worktops, tables or open shelf units: the UniColour HPL laminate is ideal wherever a jointless finish is desired. Exclusively made from papers impregnated with clear melamine resin gives the material its homogeneous colour, opening up new design opportunities.

This is evident when processing edges: a bevelled edge, for example, produces a flowing transition to the surface and a jointless, square look. In this way, edges and surfaces can be uniformly designed without unsightly seams.

Comparable to conventional HPL panels, the material offers processors ideal conditions for creating jointless elements. The manufacturer has selected various shades of grey and white producing an elegant, unobtrusive look which can be integrated into virtually every interior. Early in 2011, the company will add two new decors to its current range.
