Manhattan bathscreens present a wealth of clever design features
Published:  13 December, 2010

The latest version of Manhattan’s M3 Swiftseal Bathscreen boasts subtle design advancements that afford even greater efficiency and style.

The pull-down arm which provides the seal along the top of the bath features an ingenious ‘finger tab’ to aid engaging the bathscreen. Once located on the bath edge, all panels neatly extend and securely fit into position.

Supplied in three, four and five panel configurations, the bathscreens are constructed of 4mm class ‘A’ safety glass. The three panel screen comes complete with integrated shelving and a 5mm fixed glass panel.

Chromed die-cast hinges and concealed fixings complement the clean lines of the bathscreen. After showering, an integrated frame magnet allows Swiftseal to be ‘held’ neatly against the wall with a discreet wall magnet.

An ingenious accompaniment to the range is the M3 curtain screen available in either straight or curved options supplied with a fixed panel to help create an effective seal.

Manhattan has introduced the Radius, Sail and Square single panel screens. Constructed of 5mm class ‘A’ safety glass and chrome finish frame, they incorporate a unique rise and fall hinge to ease operation and provide a secure seal along the top of the bath edge. All have a specialist Easiclean coating applied to the internal surface to protect the glass to minimise the need to use harsh cleaning chemicals.

The screens are also available as extended options with two integrated shelves with drainage holes which can be fixed at any height and incorporate a chrome bar which ensures the contents of the shelf are retained. Die cast hinges improve the overall strength making both the Radius and the Sail a perfect choice for those who require a single panel screen.
