The stone worktop market has been well-established for a number of years and granite and engineered stone surfaces are now the material of choice for the mid to upper income bracket.

Stone tiles are now used in all areas of the house, and in bathrooms vanity tops, bath surrounds and shower trays are also popular in many different types of stone including marble, limestone and travertine.

There have been a huge number of new granites introduced to the UK over the last few years. Better machinery has meant that materials which were previously unable to be quarried commercially can now be processed and used for countertop surfaces. Brazil, India and some of the African and Middle Eastern countries are better utilising their natural resources and export both finished slabs and block.

Many of these new granites and the other stones that stoneCIRCLE stocks are beautifully figured and veined and small samples cannot do them justice. This is why the company opened a second showroom which features stunning stone products displayed in room sets and a gallery of full slabs where clients can browse nearly 100 different stones to choose a surface to best complement the rest of their furniture/decor.
