Brick Sil-K

Through extensive research and sophisticated dynamic simulations, Franke has identified the major cause of noise in hoods and has launched two new hoods to beat it – the Decorative Brick Sil-K 90 and Decorative Brick Sil-K Island. Perfect for open-plan living, soundproofing partitions in the hoods, which increase sound absorbing surfaces, eliminate noise flow in favour of silent air flow. Sil-K technology therefore cancels out sound emissions coming from the diffuser and filters, thereby reducing hood sound power by 12DB (A). 16 hoods equipped with Silk-K technology make the same amount of noise as one standard hood!

Swing Hood
