Induction is often seen as an expensive alternative to standard gas and electric hobs but increasing availability of products has moved this leading edge technology into the mainstream sector.
CDA has pioneered affordable induction cooking with the new Level 1 HCN 610 60cm induction hob, which has four zones each with nine power levels.
Induction is an excellent alternative to gas and to solid plate and ceramic electric hobs as it is more economical because it makes better use of the energy that is generated. Induction is also fast to react – it takes just 90 seconds to bring a small saucepan of water to boil on the boost setting. Reducing the power level decreases heat instantly and the availability of very low settings makes induction ideal for delicate tasks such as melting chocolate. Despite its entry level price position, the HCN 610 includes sophisticated features such as touch control, a timer and a child safety lock
“Induction is safe, efficient, clean and very easy to use, “ comments CDA’s Marketing Manager Sally Stothard. “The glass surface does not become hot so accidental spills can’t burn on. Our Level 1 pricing makes this advanced technology affordable.”
