The noticeable increase in the popularity of wet rooms is not without its problems for installers. Usually the floor surface has to be carefully established and levelled, and then follows inevitable tiling, grouting and the often difficult installation of the grate.
Bathroom leaders VitrA have introduced a range of seven “zero to floor” shower trays which can be substituted for the conventional wet room floor. Made from durable and hygienic ICI Acrylic, the VitrA trays range in size from 90cm x 90cm to 180cm x 90cm. The trays have an integrated grate and can be instantly installed so that the tiling only has to take place up to the edge.
Because the tray surface is perfectly flush, contains no grooves, niches or grouting and totally secures the grate it is extremely easy to clean and maintain and is hygienic as there are fissures or cracks in which bacteria may breed.
The ICI Acrylic material from which the VitrA zero to floor trays are made are compatible for use with all available domestic detergents and cleaning materials.
The trays are great design, perfect result and huge installation labour and time savings.
