Traditionally manufactured from ceramic materials and stone resin which made them heavy and cumbersome and often difficult to lift and fit, they were unpopular with plumbers and installers. Nowadays, trays are lighter and much easier to handle.”

Series 2 of Manhattan’s Duralite shower trays are even lighter while offering the same benefits such as the patented and award winning concealed waste with removable hair trap. When fitted direct to the floor the overall height is only 50mm and 163 mm at high level. The 900mm square tray is very easy to clean and available in different shapes and sizes which can be partnered with more than 200 Manhattan enclosure options to provide customers with a high quality shower that stands the test of time.

More recently, the movement towards wet room style showering areas has resulted in the need for manufacturers to adapt their product offering accordingly and Manhattan is no exception.
