New from Siemens is combined washer dryer WD14H420GB, a 60cm wide freestanding model. Conventional washer dryers use significant amounts of fresh, cold water to dry the clothes.
The WD14H420GB from Siemens uses nothing but cold air to cool the hot air - without consuming a single drop of additional water - saving up to 55 litres of water per drying cycle. This world beating new technology is called airCondensation and, like so many Siemens breakthroughs, is totally unique in this market. Self cleaning takes place automatically after every drying cycle to ensure there is no drop in energy efficiency throughout the life of the appliance. A rated for washing and B rated for spinning & energy efficiency, this model uses only 57 litres of water with energy consumption of only 5.67kWh, less than any other combination model around. It is also very quiet in operation (54 decibels).
