Granite Transformations is pioneering the ‘thin is in’ trend with its agglomerate worktops that are at least two-thirds lighter than materials like granite, marble or engineered stone, yet sacrifice nothing in terms of strength and performance.
That means the material can be installed directly on top of an old surface to give a smooth, highly desirable surface; worktops come with a lifetime guarantee.
Slabs are produced precisely ¼” (6.7mm) thick and sealed completely, before being cut into manageable 3-metre lengths.
The lightweight, non-porous construction makes it ideal for wet rooms, showers, bath surrounds, flooring and vertical cladding and even outdoor use.
Trend R is a classically-styled worktop finish with the traditional look and appeal of Italian granite; Trend Q, with its notably fine grain and sparkling appearance, projects the subtle shades of natural quartzite. With the Trend G collection colour-pigmented resins are often added to enhance transparent glass chips, while other finishes are uplifted by mirror fragments, mother of pearl and aventurina glass.
