As part of its bid to become the green refrigeration brand, Lec’s entire portfolio of under-counter larder, refrigerator and freezer products have been re-launched with A+ ratings for improved energy efficiency.
Endorsed by environmental champion, the Energy Saving Trust (EST), the products are much kinder to the environment than older, less efficient models and are up to £28 a year cheaper to run!
Eradicating the notion that A+ is a premium proposition, Lec has brought A+ benefits to the mass market by focusing on the under counter sector and lower price point products.
All products in the range will carry the EST’s ‘Energy Saving Recommended’ stamp of approval, have A+ symbols on the fascia and an A+ label for retail display.
The products will also be featured on the EST website and Lec will help retailers support sales by providing dedicated POS and trade literature to demonstrate the environmental and financial benefits of making the switch to A+.
In addition to the energy saving benefits on offer, the under-counter products have also been revamped to include recessed handles, better door furniture, 4* ice boxes on refrigerator models and a black colour option has been introduced for selected models.
