Hoover Candy showcased the new Hoover Ghisa Flat cast iron gas hob at the recent Eurocucina exhibition. The design takes inspiration from the past as well as looking to the future, perfectly combining style and functionality with its sleek smooth surface while its use of cast iron ensures durability and reliability.
The hob is cast in a single die about half as thick as a traditional model. This is made possible by new burners which mix forced air and natural gas to guarantee maximum efficiency and power, even though the distance between the bottom of a saucepan and the burner is just 28mm.
Available in two sizes - 75cm wide x 52cm deep with four burners or 90cm wide x 40cm deep with three burners - pan supports are integrated into the hob, making cleaning much easier. Flame-failure safety valves are fitted to each of the forced air burners.
