With easy installation features, the new compact Matki-Swadling Thermostatic Shower Valve gives a greatly improved flow rate with extremely precise temperature control. The valve recently won ‘1st Prize for Innovation' at the Idéo Bain Bathroom Exhibition in Paris where the judges particularly liked the compact space-saving design allowing the valve to be fitted into a wall space of just 48mm.
Easy Installation
Also considered important were the innovative threestep easy installation features which allow plumbers to fix the manifold and wall box for the first fit followed by the valve and the water supply, then tiling plate through to the cover plate for the final fit.
All Matki-Swadling thermostatic valves have a performance which will meet the most exacting standards specified anywhere in the world. This means no scalding, accurate temperature control, and high flow rates. Matki-Swadling valves will run efficiently on gravity systems, down to 0.1 BAR (1m head), pumped systems, unvented high pressure systems (up to 5 BAR) and combination boilers with no modifications required.
Design Flexibility
The flexibility of the Shower Valve's design makes it possible to use the same thermostatic valve body for different applications including the six new thermostatic Basin, Bidet and Bath Wall Mixers now available under the Matki Elixir and Swadling Absolute2 brands. For the first time, homeowners will be able to match shower mixers with their basin, bath and bidet brassware creating an elegantly coordinated look throughout the bathroom. Each mixer incorporates the new high flow thermostatic shower valve and sensitive Click-Temperature- Control which prevents scalding and allows for extremely precise temperature control.
Matki and Swadling offer a choice of concealed shower mixers which automatically adjust the water temperature to give a constant and pleasurable shower, factory set at a maximum of 43 degrees. Matki's Elixir range comprises the Classic, Linear and Modern Cross designs. The mixers are constructed from solid brass with a chrome finish to give the bathroom a luxurious finish. The minimalist design of Matki's New Elixir Linear thermostatic mixer has been created to fit the most stylish and luxurious of bathrooms. The mixer is finished in chrome with an Easy Clean Deluge shower head and features a square soft spray hand shower and double spiral flexible hose.
Characterised by minimalist lines and innovative styling, Swadling's New Absolute2 mixer range is made up of three designs, Contemporary, Classic and Retro with white ceramic. Swadling's New Absolute2 Contemporary Concealed Shower Valve comes complete with a 220mm Easy Clean brass shower rose, Absolute hand shower and improved high flow thermostatic valve featuring the innovative Click-Temperature-Control.
