Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) rounded off their 20th birthday celebrations in style with it’s first exhibition, HPX2011. Held at the firms head offices near Manchester on the 15 – 16th of September the event attracted over 500 visitors over the two days. Guests were able to enjoy exhibits from twenty four different businesses along with food, drink, entertainment and factory tours.

Hafele exhibited at the recent KBB London, the largest show for the UK industry delivering the latest innovative products and trends.

The Hafele stand displayed the latest designs for optimising space in the kitchen with clever storage ideas such as the Recorner Maxx, a pole free base cabinet corner solution.

Roca’s exclusive space in ‘The Room’ at KBB London was a luxurious and stunning bespoke environment showcasing the most sumptuous and inspirational bathroom products. 

Roca introduced a selection of its latest innovative designs which included H&H, its latest bathroom furniture proposal.

KBB London provided Roca the opportunity to showcase its latest innovation, the Armani/Roca bathroom concept in which the most advanced technological solutions are united with elegant and sophisticated luxury to transform the bathroom into a relaxing haven.

CDA’s extensive hob collection was boosted by the addition of a new linear ceramic model launched at KBB London.

Perfect for use on an island unit where it can be combined with CDA’s elegant 3D9 rise and fall downdraft extractor, the HVC93 ceramic hob is 90cm long and 35 cm deep. It has four zones, including two large dual zones, all with nine power levels and a timer for flexible, controllable cooking.

Showerlux UK teamed up with iglass at KBB to exhibit its new range of designer glass radiators.

“The addition of the Ignis range to the Showerlux portfolio is part of a drive by the company to offer a complete luxury bathroom solution,” comments Bob Bowler, MD at Showerlux UK. “The innovative radiators sit perfectly with our range of high quality enclosures and walk-ins.”

VASCO unveiled their latest aluminium designer radiator at kbb London. Already recipient of the coveted Red Dot Award for 2011, CANYON is the latest in the company’s ground-breaking portfolio of aluminium radiators to be shown for the first time in the UK at kbb London.  Vertical ribs on the front lend the radiator a rhythmic look and also guarantee optimum radiated heat. The highly conductive aluminium is also lightweight offering advantages in terms of both transportation and installation.

British manufacturing heritage is the central theme of the new range of luxury kitchen taps by Abode, available from October 2011.  Inspiration for the collection comes from the classic era of British design and manufacture – refined and different!

Sycamore Lightings impressive range of lighting was a hit with the visitors to their stand, with the range of LED Lighting including LED Flexible Strips, brand new LED Cabinet lighting and illuminated bathroom mirrors standing out the most.  Also on show were new LED plinth lights, LED automatic drawer lights, and new Infra red switching systems, and touch switch options.

Sycamore Product’s new range of Italian Manufactured Soft Close wirework proved popular at this year’s KBB Exhibition, with the Unhanded Corner Organiser being the star of the show. Also on view were the new pull out columns, available in tall and mid high units, bottle racks, and pull out drawers, again all of high quality Italian manufacture and soft close.

Made in response to customers’ feedback, which expressed a desire for a more flexible way to cook healthy and nutritious meals, Samsung has launched the Dual Cook Steam Oven, the first of its kind to offer people the choice of splitting the oven cavity in half to simultaneously cook two separate dishes at two separate temperatures with the option of using steam technology.

Bohle Ltd, Europe’s leading manufacturer and supplier of      quality components for glass installations, announced major interest in their stand at KBB London, particularly for the Portavant door system and their superior bathroom hardware.

Portavant is the definitive glass sliding door system that is equipped with an inline damper as it slows the door to slide to a close, reducing accidents and ensuring the door closes fully, even when closed in a hurry.

Last month saw luxury bathroom fittings manufacturer GROHE, unveil its new concept GROHE SPA to the UK at KBB, London. The Allure Brilliant (pictured above) headlined at the event and the range will subsequently be available to buy in the UK from July.

Norcool, a member of the Frigoglass Group, is now developing the UK & Irish market’s with their new innovative product range to help increase its overall market-share within premium high quality built-in kitchen appliances sector. The product range includes cooling appliances from stylish wine coolers to corner fridges and from drawer freezers to walk in fridges.

Trade Mouldings experienced an enthusiastic response from KBB visitors to the new Odyssey acrylic door range, on show in gloss black, white and cream. These are offered in industry standard sizes ex-stock with matching accessories and end panels. Non standard sizes are available on a two-week lead time.

VitrA was delighted by the response of visitors at KBB in particular, to the stunning new T4 collection which made its UK debut after being unveiled at the ISH exhibition in Frankfurt.

The pure and un-interrupted lines of the wall-hung WCs and bidets have been achieved with innovative features including the new blind fixing. This allows the unit to slide onto bolts protruding from the wall and secured via a guidance tube for the allen-key to lock the unit to the wall.

Sensio Lighting reports fantastic success at Kbb London 2011 after the launch of its new Approved Retailer Programme.

Kitchen lighting specialist, Sensio Lighting, exhibited at kbb London between 15th and 17th May, launching several ground-breaking product lines including the ‘Innovation Awards’ nominated Slideline Click HD LED, Quadra collection and the SLS LED.

The latest product from Dallmer launched on the UK market at this year’s KBB is the CeraLine Nano, a slimline shower drain with a built-in depth of only 68mm. This offers an excellent waste water flow rate of 0.45 litres per second, providing a whole range of possibilities in shower and wet room design for situations where cutting into solid floor structures is inadvisable or impossible.

JIS EUROPE of Haywards Heath has a new heated towel rail named THE ALFRISTON. The towel rail is manufactured in an elegant round section shape with nine horizontal rails giving an appearance of refined luxury, together with a stylish 90 degree angle on the top rail.

SMART Systems have been developing business solutions for the KBB Industry since 2001 and by end of the KBB 2011 Exhibition had notched up just shy of their 2,000th KBB retailer either using the SMART System or the revolutionary KBBConnect®. Parapan® was shown on the CDUK Ltd stand at KBB alongside Corian® and Air Uno, two other brands in the CD UK portfolio.

A sweeping, curved island in Aubergine Parapan®, finished with a fabricated, identically shaped is Arctic Blueberry Corian® work top, took centre stage on the stand, demonstrating how two of the most advanced surface materials around can be utilized to create kitchen cabinetry that transcends the ordinary.

Cavani, the English, ultra modern kitchen furniture concept was launched at KBB and impressed the many visitors that came onto the stand.

Hand crafted in Edwin Loxley’s Nottingham based workshops, Cavani has been designed to compete with modern, lay on door, furniture ranges from mainland Europe. 

TK Components launched its new ‘De Luxe’ range of premium wirework for the kitchen at KBB 2011. REHAU is inviting visitors to the W10 exhibition to attend a presentation and live demonstration of its new Laser Edge edgebanding technology on Tuesday, 5 October at 1.30.

The awards ceremony, held on 6th October at the historic Lord's Cricket Ground in central London, brought together the design industry's elite for an afternoon of recognition, inspiration and entertainment. Attended by almost 400 senior figures from across the design industry, the event focused on recognising excellence in design for the interiors of residential projects in the UK, with a specific concentration on the kitchen and bathroom.
