Showerlux expand up a size
Published:  01 December, 2007

Following last year’s successful launch of contemporary door range Linea, Coventry based shower manufacturer Showerlux, has announced that enclosures will be moving to 8mm glass. The transition from 6mm to 8mm is in response to increased consumer demand for a thicker premium-quality glass door which is competitively priced.

The move will also clearly differentiate the Linea range from the company’s 6mm Glide range and luxury 10mm Eden enclosures and it will apply to four out of the five door options: bi-fold; slider; penta and in-line. The pivot door option will follow suit in the coming months.

Bob Bowler, Managing Director of Showerlux, says: “The Linea range has been extremely popular with consumers since its launch last year. However, we’re always looking to meet and indeed anticipate the needs of future customers. As the market is moving towards a thicker glass option we know we can offer a quality proposition that will continue to deliver high volume sales for the trade.”

The Linea range has been particularly popular due to its versatility, with suitability for all bathroom sizes, ensuite rooms and wet room installations for both the consumer and specification sectors. With an entry point of £550, it delivers an upmarket design at a value for money price point.
