Rehau as expanded its portfolio of Raukantex edgebands with a new range of embossed finishes.
The Impressions range shifts the emphasis towards textures rather than just colour and design and offers designers an innovative new edgeband option.
Impressions focuses on the natural materials which are currently popular in the contemporary design market and includes raised wood grain finishes for the kitchen and furniture markets and coarse grained natural stone for shop fitting, bars, reception areas and industrial/ commercial premises.
The embossing is much more defined than on most other edgebands of this type and demonstrates not only Rehau’s technical expertise but also its determination to maximise the potential impact of edgeband in modern design schemes.
Allison Tucker, the Business Team Manager for Rehau’s Furniture Products, said of the launch: “Rehau is constantly looking to show that edgeband can be much more than just a commodity product and Impressions is an excellent example of how it can become the focus of a design scheme rather than a simple add-on.”
