CMS Acoustics is set to restore market confidence in specifying ceramic floor surfaces, with the launch of a revolutionary acoustic tiling system.
Confirmed by independent testing, Regupol Acousti-Tile is the only acoustic tiling system to meet criteria set by the UK Tiling Association, and exceeds Part E of the building regulations by achieving impact sound insulation of 19dB.
The main component in the system is Regupol 4515 Multi, a high performance acoustic underlay which isolates impact sound at source. Regupol 4515 Multi, which can be used with any finish, is first bonded to the base floor using Ardex AF200.
Tiles are then laid on top of Regupol 4515 Multi using the unique Acousti-Bond adhesive – developed by Building Adhesives Limited. The system is completed with an appropriate grout finish, dependent upon whether the base floor is concrete or timber.
