JIS Europe Ltd., based in Sussex and one of the leading suppliers of stainless steel radiators and towel rails in the UK, is extremely conscious of increasing public awareness of the need to save energy both for ecological and financial reasons. As a result the company is including a section entitled “Energy Saving Accessories” in its updated brochures of modern styled rails, due to be published shortly.
In addition to existing ranges of energy sensitive products, several new ranges will appear in the section. New adjustable elements that give five setting options offering between 30% and 100% of full power are especially featured. Suitable for dual fuel or electric only installations, these are available in 200, 300, 600 and 1,000 watts versions and bear an IP54 rating. An LED light display shows the setting in use on the automatic regulator and to change the setting there is a ± button handily placed by the on/off control. There are also several new thermostatically controlled Towel Rail Valves [TRVs] including a Streamline valve where the control is neatly placed facing inwards on the rail instead of projecting as do the already successful profile valves. A Heat Regulator Switch, due to be released shortly, will also be included. This has been designed to fit all electric towel rails in the JIS ranges and is especially useful for limiting peak temperatures for safety as well as energy saving purposes.
