British bathroom manufacturer Twyford Bathrooms has now made it easy to save water in the home with the Galerie flushwise toilet, the UK’s lowest flushing WC. The dual flush WC uses a staggeringly low 4 or 2.6 litres of water, giving an effective flush volume of just 3 litres – half the maximum water level set by current UK legislation.
The new Galerie flushwise WC operates on very low volumes of water thanks to a uniquely engineered pan, which has a refined inlet and outlet angle, reduced sump capacity and a tailored inlet to outlet dimensions (see diagram). Engineers from the Twyford Design Centre have spent months refining the shape of the WC ensuring that it fully complies with all the current UK and European legislation. This gives consumers a realistic opportunity to become eco-friendly and confident that they can help make reservoir droughts and hosepipe bans a thing of the past.
Twyford Bathrooms has ensured that the Galerie flushwise is priced reasonably and is easy to install, in order to encourage consumers to switch from water guzzling WCs to the flushwise. The stylish Galerie flushwise WC has a starting list price of £280.00 (excluding VAT) for the WC, and consumers will be able to purchase the WC from showrooms and builders merchants across the country.
