Children are especially prone to letting taps run at full throttle, especially in the bathroom while cleaning their teeth. To help those concerned about the environmental and money-wasting affects of literally pouring litres of water down the drain each day, Bristan has developed a clever mechanism called eco click, which restricts the water flow simply and easily. A tap fitted with Bristan’s eco flow cartridge offers a subtle resistance as it reaches approximately half of its full flow capability, thus saving water. For times when an increased flow is required, the eco click feature can simply be overruled by pushing the handle more firmly to its full extension. At full flow the eco click cartridge uses 32% less water than a standard tap, while in eco click mode, the reduction increases to an impressive 72%.

Eco click is available on a number of Bristan basin mixers, including the Prism mixer which retails at around £115 and the Jupiter Basin Mixer which costs around £215.
