The new Metro bathroom radiator from Dimplex adds a sophisticated twist to any bathroom, with contemporary design plus innovative heating technology for superior performance. The stylish Metro features broad, flat-panel rails, soft curved styling and integrated electronic room temperature and timer controls.
It introduces dry element technology, which means that the radiator not only warms up three times faster than a conventional wet filled towel rail, but also provides a 30% faster towel drying time.
As well as improved drying times, the Metro offers enhanced energy efficiency as the room reaches the required temperature very quickly. Selected models feature an integral fan for extra-fast room heating and this also has a washable filter to ensure a healthy bathroom environment.
The elegant asymmetric design maximises towel hanging capacity, while the perfectly even heat distribution over the entire surface means there is no heat stratification or cold spots. And, in contrast to conventional wet-filled radiators, there is no risk of leaks or corrosion.
The Metro offers all the benefits of electrically heated appliances such as independent operation from the main heating system for warm/dry towels year-round, flexible installation as they are not limited by plumbing availability and 100% efficiency at point of use. What’s more, the lightweight aluminium construction makes for easy installation.
The Metro has a two year guarantee and is available in either 450mm or 550mm width options, with a range of outputs from 0.48 to 1.6kW.
