Leading the market in tiling applications in CAD design software is Logicom with its range of Virtual Worlds software. New functions have been developed for interior designers and kitchen, bathroom and ceramic specialists. Users can load their own tile textures or benefit from the catalogues of manufacturers and distributors.
Wood flooring products can be used as well and templates can be applied in seconds. Templates and patterns can be created and saved in a background task section of the program and there is a special “wizard” for areas such as shower enclosure interiors. A BOM provides accurate data output of full and partial tiles used in a design by quantity and Part Code, even down to the number of cartons needed.
