With the launch of TurboCAD Professional v14, IMSI has reinforced the position of TurboCAD as the world’s top, value for money, CAD system. At around £500 it comes with advanced tools that you would only expect in far more expensive packages. The main package comes with optional additional tools for architects and engineers, although you do have the option of adding both sets, which for the small extra cost involved is well worth it.
Compatibility and ease of use are the two cornerstones of this package. TurboCAD Professional reads and supports 30 file formats including the latest DWG and DXF files. Many large Autodesk users save a lot of money by adding TurboCAD to their CAD seats because of its excellent compatibility with AutoCAD.
TurboCAD is an accessible CAD package that has something for everyone. There is an array of training materials, both CDs and books, even one specially written for the AutoCAD trained user. It is supported by a help line during office hours and training courses are run each month in Winchester.
