Leading cabinet door producer BLP UK Ltd have introduced a further two “painted look” cabinet doors in the Duck Egg and Tranquil Blue foils from Benecke.
Taking inspiration from the Heritage colour palette last year, BLP demonstrated that they could produce a cabinet door with a vinyl foil that created the same look and feel as a bespoke painted cabinet door with the Sage Green and Victorian Blue membrane foil pressed cabinet doors.
The traditional painted kitchen is becoming very popular, but is only currently available at the high end of the market from bespoke kitchen furniture manufacturers. BLP wanted to be able to offer a cabinet door for their customers which resembled the high quality paint effect and craftsmanship to create this traditional style of kitchen furniture for the wider market.
The Duck Egg was the colour trend for spring/summer 2007, from fashion through to household accessories, and we can now see this coming through on both fitted and freestanding pieces of kitchen furniture and children’s bedroom furniture. The Tranquil Blue is very light, airy and clean, giving a fresh feel.
