In countries such as Australia where rainfall levels are much lower than in the UK, the need to save water has always been important, with the result that water saving WC’s have been a mandatory specification for over 3 years. With the planned introduction of water saving measures under Building Regulations Part G, the UK is at last beginning to realise the need to minimise water usage.
The Australian sister company of Impulse Bathrooms, Imperial Ware Australia Pty Ltd has recently received an order for no less than 18,000 of their 4.5/3 litre dual flush Tribune WC’s in a replacement programme covering the whole of the greater Sydney region. They are also the preferred supplier for a similar project in Melbourne representing another 52,000 WC’s.
If the cost of water continues to rise, as it surely will, the payback period to set against the cost of replacement with one of the ten suites Impulse Bathrooms can offer with the 4.5/3 litre dual flush will be drastically reduced.
This is the way forward.
