Pegler Yorkshire to showcase new products
Published:  28 February, 2010

KBB 2010 will see taps, valves and fittings specialist Pegler Yorkshire delivering more than just a brassware hat trick of tap ranges as several new products will be making their debut in Hall 20 Stand C12.

Stunning hat trick of new designer taps and mixers

Along with the most popular products from the current portfolio, Pegler Yorkshire will be using KBB as a platform to launch brand new brassware ranges. Even the names are under wraps at the moment, but all will feature kitchen variants. More details will follow in the build up to the kick off to KBB.

Brassware is coming home

Pegler Yorkshire’s comprehensive range of taps and mixers will be available to view. This will include established products such as the Francis Pegler BRITA filter taps, the recently introduced T555 bath and shower mixer and the latest Ebro and Pulsar ranges.

The Ebro and Pulsar ranges are both minimalist in style, competitive in price and boast an unashamedly European vogue and both sets of basin fittings include an aerator for that champagne ‘bubbly’ water flow. The Pulsar portfolio also offers an eco version in the range in recognition of the drive to conserve water and Pegler Yorkshire’s water saving initiatives.

New thermostatic compliant brassware tackles scalding

A new range of thermostatic brassware will also be on display. This will include the recently introduced T555 bath and shower mixer. Its thermostatic anti-scald performance has been designed to eliminate any possibility of scalding, by mixing hot and cold water at a safe pre-set temperature. New innovations for this product include the ability to turn off the water supply in seconds at the body of the tap by using an isolation key, with no need to remove the bath panel to gain access to additional isolating valves.

The T555 also conforms to High Pressure BS EN 1111 and low pressure BS EN 1287 enabling the product to offer TMV2 approval. In addition this tap is still the only product to date (December 2009) to be awarded by BuildCert for low pressure 46°C cold water shut off.

Pegler Yorkshire’s latest Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) will also be on display. Part of the famous Prestex range, the new valve is manufactured and assembled completely in the UK and boasts improved performance, precision engineering and high levels of traceability.

Francis Pegler BRITA Filter taps continue to score

Completing the brassware display will be a working model of a Francis Pegler BRITA filter tap, allowing visitors to the stand to sample for themselves the taste and benefits of filtered water. First launched at KBB in 2006, these taps are now well established and stocked by retailers throughout the country.

“We are really looking forward to KBB this year,” said Pegler Yorkshire product market manager Mike Dickinson, “We can already boast an extensive brassware portfolio, but the new ranges we will be launching at KBB this year will highlight our ambitions for the future.”
