Granite Transformations has introduced two new finishes to its range of Trend G Recycled worktop surfaces, containing up to 72% post-consumer recycled glass. Both designs feature green glass fragments bonded together with a clear polymer resin, to create a finish that is extremely tough, heat, stain and scratch resistant.
The darker finish, Dream Green, is described as a lush carpet of crushed crystals and verdant green, while Azzuro Prato has the feel of pale morning mist streaked with veins of brilliant emerald. Also new to the range are soft and subtle Bianco Spizzio with shards of sun-bleached blues and greys and Beige Supremo, setting fragments of golden brown against a soft white ground.
Equally at home in the bathroom, shower, wet room, lobby or outside living area, the recycled material has been certificated by the Greenguard Environmental Institute for low emissions of VOCs and other toxins. The worktops come with a manufacturer-backed lifetime warranty.
