This drawer insert, in solid rustic beech, with utensils in stainless steel, is one of several differently sized models now available from Häfele, each with alternative utensil sets.
The model pictured is designed for a 600mm drawer and measures 473mm. It comes complete with a 50mm spacer to locate the tools and the tray tightly into the drawer. The spacer insets to the rear of the drawer to bring the utensils easily to hand at the front as it is opened.
The rustic beech of the utensil tray is clear lacquered, as is the 50mm spacer piece, for both good looks and for high level impact protection.
The superb quality stainless steel of the utensils is augmented by rubber grips to help the user get the best from them – each piece has inset rubber thumb grips and also, at the ends of the handles, a rubber grip pad to interact with the heel of the hand.
Utensils demanding a firmer grip – like the corkscrew – have additional rubber strip grips on the handles to ensure an even firmer hold.
