Britannia induction hobs get 2010 off to sizzling start
Published:  21 January, 2010

Britannia is adding to its portfolio of built-in hobs with a 90cm induction model which borrows from the cutting-edge technology of its fast-selling induction range cookers launched last year.

The stylish, black glass hob offers five cooking zones with nine power levels, touch controls and boost function to deliver a more precise, controllable cooking experience. Features such as residual heat indicators, a child lock, an anti-overheat device and a pre-programmed switch-off, that kicks in should the maximum operating time be exceeded, ensure the highest levels of safety.

The easy to clean and maintain hob also has auto-heat up for each zone and a ‘keep warm’ function which will keep finished sauces or dishes at temperature until they’re ready to be served. It gives customers more flexibility and provides an excellent solution for those with limited kitchen space and unable to fit a range cooker into their scheme.
