Mirco Tschenett has tested two spiral saws from RotoZip, fighting off worldwide competition to become World Champion Wall and Floor Tiler at the 39th Worldskills International, held in Shizuoka, Japan. Established in 1950 as a platform for vocational skills across global industries and designed to encourage higher standards, the competition attracts skilled tradesmen from every industry.
Mirco was challenged with testing the RotoZip RZ3 and RZ5 lightweight saws to produce intricate dry cuts in a selection of the toughest tiling materials. It was clear, after only a few cuts, that the saws represented the most impressive performance on the market.
“The ease with which the saws cut even the hardest tile, is amazing,” comments Mirco. “For anyone working with stone or similar high-grade materials on a daily basis, these tools are an absolute must."
The RZ3 and RZ5 saws deliver a no-load speed of 30,000 rpm, with rated power inputs of 500W and 600W respectively.
