Aqua4ma, a new product by Kudos Showers, has been launched to save up to 30% on the cost of creating a fully watertight wet room without compromising on style or functionality, whilst also being 75% less time consuming to install.
By using the patented Floor4MA system, a metal base tray combined with a UPVC top shower board, the unit stands 50 mm away from the wall and simply drops down securely into the required space. Consequently there is no need to cut right up to the wall or lower the floor and, with the unit sitting just 10mm above the normal level of the floor, minimal height is added.
Extruded UPVC is used for the wall and floor panels. 100% waterproof and robust, these interlocking panels are secured by a solvent weld adhesive. The adhesive reacts with the extruded UPVC creating a single, rigid and 100% waterproof floor panel, which are then screwed into place. The UPVC also self-heals around the screws to ensure that it stay completely watertight.
Suitable for entire rooms, Aqua4MA also allows accessories such as towel rails and radiators to be screwed directly into the panels without the need for rawl plugs. It is also suitable for use with any type of tile, which can also be replaced without causing damage to the walls, floor or tray.
