‘Zeolith’ is a versatile mineral that derives its name from the Greek, zein lithos, literally meaning ‘Boiling stone’. ‘Zeolith’ is stored inside the dishwasher and comes into its own during the drying cycle when the mineral absorbs the warm air and then releases heat energy to dry the dishes. This is a perfect example of natural renewable energy as the ‘zeolith’ regenerates itself for subsequent use.
