Wilsonart has developed a range of surfaces based on a very simple observation. Continuous research into new materials and colour trends provide the inspiration to create a laminate surface that appears more natural. Each design is individual and to express it’s individuality a dedicated surface texture is applied to enhance its overall appeal.

Tim Pearson, Worktop Business Manager, comments: “Over the last few years we have focused intensively on our approach to texture and design development with a desire to push the boundaries of surface technology to new heights. One example of this work has been the recent launch of our Deepstar and Quarry products, now established favourites with a number of customers.

“We are currently working on a selection of rich, exotic wood designs combined with our EM texture, creating a remarkable look and feel of natural wood at a fraction of the cost of solid wood worktops.”

Other developments include a range of “Silver Crystal” designs, a new sparkling metallic surface available in the latest ultraabrasion resistant high gloss texture. Wooden Spirit is the name given to a new heavy grained wood texture that combines perfectly with high relief wood effects.
