First two companies sign up for TTA Warranty

The Tile Association are so confident of their members’ workmanship that they have introduced an insurance backed warranty scheme especially for TTA fixers working in the consumer sector. Because the scheme is insurance backed, if the TTA Fixer were to go out of business and The Tile Association Warranty has been provided, the consumer will have an insurance policy to rely on.

The Tile Association Warranty scheme can be used to provide cover for wall and floor tiling contracts between the values of £250 to £5,000 including VAT. It covers the tiling work only, not the product, in a single private residence with no business use, and the policy term is six years. This is the ONLY insurance backed warranty scheme in the tiling industry and can only be offered by TTA member fixers.

The very first companies to sign up to offer the warranty were Reptile of Preston and Natural Stone Emporium of High Peak, Derbyshire. Reptile Director Shaun Bridge told us why the warranty scheme is so important to his company. “It gives us an edge over the competition and looks really good to potential clients.” Natural Stone Emporium Director James Mather told. “Being able to offer an insurance backed warranty is a great opportunity for us to offer added value to our clients”.
