What is hydrotherapy?
Published:  01 July, 2007

The health giving properties of hydrotherapy, defined as the treatment of disease using water, have long been recognised.

The Original Airbath hydrotherapy system is the ultimate in that it injects “hydrated” air, a mix of hot air and hot water, so that the bubbles create a warming sensation when they hit the skin.

Premium spas create the effect in all parts of the body, whereas whirlpools, such as the Airbath Swirlpool, have a more localised effect around the water jets. All of them allow the temperature and pressure of the injected water to be automatically varied using electronic touch pad controls, and other features like chromotherapy, mood lighting and Airbath thermofill add extra luxury to the bathing experience.
