With market penetration running at just 30 percent (compared to 50 percent in Germany and 80 percent in Sweden), dishwashers are an important area of opportunity for retailers. The market is forecast to grow as consumers become more energy conscious - and CDA is ready for both new owners and those who are trading up from an old machine with a collection of unbeatable energy, time and water saving models.
The latest addition to the range is the WC370 60cm fully integrated machine that uses just 13 litres of water for a full 12 place setting wash. Finished in stainless steel, the WC370 is AAA rated and has a selection of nine programmes to suit every load from Intensive at 70oC for heavily soiled pots and pans down to a 30-minute quick wash at 30oC. On Auto programmes the machine decides exactly how much water and energy is needed to deliver perfect wash results - all the user has to do is press one button for perfect results every time. Other features include an energy saving half load facility for either the top or the bottom baskets and a time delay to take advantage of lower tariff electricity. Three spray levels ensure thorough cleaning from top to bottom. "This is an impressive machine that offers consumers considerable savings in time and energy and its smart, integrated styling means that it will suit any kitchen," says Marketing Manager Sally Stothard.
CDA offers a large selection of AAA rated dishwashers. Two models, the VW80and the CW448 have just received Energy Saving Trust recommendation. The fully integrated AAA rated VW80 dishwasher is packed with energy saving features including a quick wash at just 38oC, a cold soak, Eco and Bio washes and a setting for three in one dishwasher tablets. The intelligent auto programme senses the level of soiling and selects the correct water temperature and amount of rinsing. It uses just 14 litres for a full wash load.
Taking an amazing ten place settings, the 45cm AAA rated CW448 fully integrated slimline dishwasher packs a bumper bundle of features into a small package. There's a choice of five wash programmes - soak, delicate, bio, normal and intensive, three spray levels for really efficient cleaning and a delay timer.
