Total Hygiene Ltd has developed its innovative Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita to optimize toileting with privacy, dignity and hygiene - an aim it has achieved to the extent the unit is installed in locations as diverse as a private home on a luxury Irish estate through council homes to quality London hotels.
The Clos-o-Mat looks just like a conventional toilet, but incorporates an in-built douche and drier. It can be used as a standard WC, or without toilet tissue: pressure on the flush triggers the douching and drying cycles to cleanse without having to grasp and manipulate standard paper. A range of accessories such as arm supports and soft-touch operating pads enable even the most frail to use it with little or no help.
