Bristan get a new ID
Published:  06 November, 2009

"Less able and older people aren't special cases; they're part of the mainstream, so why are we still recommending bathroom products that make them feel like they're in an institution?" says Judith Gibbons from Bristan.

This year, the company has launched iD, a collection of over 100 bathroom products that are not only easy to use, but are designed with style in mind so that everyone can achieve a bathroom to be proud of - regardless of age, size or ability.

Developed with the help of respected occupational therapist, Kate Sheehan, the iD range includes taps and showers operated by long levers or push controls, easy access showering, stylish grab rails that can also double up as towel rails, and wall hung WCs and basins that can be hung to the required height.

Judith Gibbons at Bristan said: "We believe that inclusively designed bathroom products could provide an opportunity for growth in the bathroom market which is fantastic news for retailers. Our iD range has been developed to combine ease of use with designer style, helping people to create a bathroom that is as practical as it is stylish."

Bristan is supporting the range with dedicated POS and a website - www.bristan.com/id-easytouse.
