Logicom, the developer of the Virtual Worlds package, is concentrating its systems talent in the kitchen market. Image quality is one of the most important features of Virtual Worlds and often the buying public can be hard-pushed to differentiate Virtual Worlds "renders" from actual photographs. This level of reality, says Logicom, goes a long way to convince consumers to make the final leap into purchase.
Two key developments are now providing models and functionality to streamline the design process for in-frame kitchens and the increasingly popular array of curved units and the curved worktop segments that they entail. There is also the new "attachment point" system. When these "virtual" points are switched on it is a simple matter of one click on the mouse to accurately place any tap on any sink or the worktop segment on its corresponding cabinet unit.
For a very modest development fee, Logicom can customise a Virtual Worlds catalogue to an individual manufacturer's design range so that it is not only visually accurate but will produce detailed, coded output schedules, priced quotations or export a file to link seamlessly to another software package, perhaps controlling your cutting machinery.
