Italians, making function fashionable

When anyone mentions Italy, my senses are instantly enlightened; I find it easy to drift off and imagine the scent of garlic, the tingle of Prosecco on the tongue, the sound of a family's excited chatter round a kitchen table. It's easy because Italy has always been synonymous with a passion for food, families, fashion and innovation. The Italian kitchen is always the centre of activity in the modern home so it comes as no surprise that the Italians know best when it comes to kitchen appliance design.

Italian kitchen appliances tend to be much simpler in comparison to other European designs, with a far more sleek and streamlined look. After all, this is the nation that bought us fluid lines created by floor-to-ceiling cabinetry; they changed how we capitalised on space and concealed or displayed these appliances. This Italian panache wholeheartedly supports the trend of integrated appliances; form and function run hand in hand with the latest technology, the overall look and feel of the appliance is never compromised. So the advice is, when it comes to your culinary needs, why not indulge your passion and do it the Italian way.
