The new KBSA corporate vice chair announced
Published:  06 November, 2009

Malcolm Scott has been announced as the new corporate vice chair of the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA).

KBSA CEO Graham Ball welcomed him on behalf of the board and said that he would make a positive contribution towards moving the Association forward.

He said: "Malcolm is a well recognised and respected professional with many years of experience in the appliance sector. He has always been a great supporter of the KBSA and will use his own experience of KBSA membership to communicate the benefits to others."

Malcolm, who is currently Commercial Director of Swift Electrical Wholesalers, has more than 20 years experience with three of the industry's leading distributers, having started his career with Wolseley distribution and then moved to Waterline before joining Swift Electrical. Whilst in his current position he has visited most of Europe's leading appliance factories, fifteen in eight different countries.

"I am delighted to be able to take up this position with the KBSA," explains Malcolm.

"My own company has seen the volume of business with KBSA members double from membership and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to communicate the many clear benefits of KBSA membership to others. The KBSA provides corporate members with the opportunity to deal with quality retailers who are reputable trading partners. They offer quality display space in some of the best locations and the return on displays is much higher than average."
