For many years the Roper Rhodes Group has invested heavily both in developing new designs and improving their existing furniture ranges across both its Roper Rhodes and Tavistock brands. A very loyal and impressively large number of supporting retailers get access to products that look great, work well and offer value for money.
2009 was no exception, with major launches this spring which under the Roper Rhodes brand saw the introduction of 3 entirely new ranges and extensions to popular contemporary furniture lines Envy and Kato. These new products have been well received and the extraordinary level of display investment from retailers has meant they are already starting to see a remarkable take up in terms of sales to the end consumer.
Contemporary wall mounted furniture is as popular as ever, with consumers opting for the simplest of shapes and door/drawer styles. The Contact range, with its push-to-open drawers and doors, is already proving to be a big hit since launch, showing that there is a real market out there for the handle-less look.
On the flip side of this, an interesting trend toward products which subtly combine traditional and contemporary styling has emerged. The newly launched Karma range has proved to be extremely successful, with its fusion of traditionally inspired carpentry and refined lines.
With Roper Rhodes' vigorous product development programme set to continue throughout 2010 and advanced plans already in place for further introductions to their furniture ranges next spring, bathroom retailers could do a lot worse than keeping a close eye on this forward-thinking company's next moves.
