Tylö has developed an independent combined door and shower column that turns a normal shower into a fully functioning steam room. It is available in the UK from Golden Coast.
The new '60-G' shower column has been produced with an integral steam generator and full shower functions, used as part of the steam bathing experience.
Designed for those wishing to create their own bespoke shower and steam room or having limited space for a modular unit, the column creates the ‘fourth wall', requiring the customer to have the remaining walls built to suit their design requirements. This also opens up the possibility of providing steam within a ‘wet room' environment.
Inside, the column is equipped with a discreet steam outlet, a hand shower and a fixed fully adjustable powered showerhead, with the shower functions operated through a single-lever thermostatically controlled mixer.
Supplied ready plumbed and wired for connection, the unit measures 1m x 2.m.
