Martin Russell has been appointed as Managing Director for Kaldewei UK, based at its head office facility in Surbiton, Surrey. With a wealth of skills and a proven commercial track record, Martin also brings a fresh perspective to the business coming from outside of the bathroom sector.
Martin spent thirteen years with multi-national, Dutch giant Akzo Nobel, the world's largest coatings manufacturer. His roles spanned sales, planning and management with a key focus on commercial specification markets, selling and promoting the Company's leading professional brands predominately through the trade market. In 2006, Martin then took the helm as UK Managing Director for Amefa, the Dutch manufacturer of cutlery and kitchen knives.
The pivotal appointment of Martin Russell demonstrates Kaldewei's continuing commitment to the UK market and is part of a strategy to drive the business forward globally and maximise opportunities in key markets.
