A new generation of 2.5/4 litre cisterns have recently been developed by VitrA which can save up to 64 litres of water every day.
A special dual flush mechanism developed by VitrA can be retrofitted to existing WC-cistern combinations currently in use, which provides 3/6 litre dual flushing - saving water by up to 40%.
