The Mereway Group of Companies are delighted to announce the release of their new fleet of greener trucks for their distribution network. Proud to operate their own fleet, Mereway have 11 vehicles across the Group, servicing all of the UK and Ireland.
These newly livered trucks now bear their well known retail brands, Mereway Bathrooms, Wentworth, English Revival and Cucina Colore to advertise the company nationwide.
As part of a continuous improvement programme for reducing their carbon footprint, all the cabs hold streamlined aerodynamics for reduced fuel consumption, produce minimal emissions as well as containing the latest in onboard tracking technology and route planning. This provides a much ‘greener' service through reduced mileage and sleeker route planning for deliveries whilst ensuring they keep to the fast lead times Mereway are renowned for.
Mereway have also adopted the new Rix GoGreen fuel card system, one of the only cards of its kind that works in a similar way to standard fuel cards but with a ‘green' twist; the fuel purchased using these new cards means Rix will put cleaner, greener BioBlend 5 Diesel back into the nationwide fuel pool.
