Fusion ‘steps up a gear' with latest version
Introducing version 16, the latest upgrade from Planit Fusion, the leading design and visualisation software for the kitchen and bathroom industry
Published:  04 August, 2009

Newly launched and supplied to all Fusion supported customers this summer, the latest version of Fusion boasts more than 20 new features and enhancements to ensure kitchen and bathroom designers get maximum benefit from using the software.

Fusion software now incorporates an extensive range of product catalogues and now, when creating a room design with version 16, any chosen catalogue can be automatically substituted for another catalogue with like-for-like products. This feature also remembers any manually replaced units and automatically incorporates these as part of the new ‘Change Catalogue' feature for future designs.

With tiling being an integral part of the overall room design, version 16 also has enhanced tiling features. Fusion users can now add individual decorative tiles to a standard tiling zone, create a herringbone pattern using standard rectangular shaped tiles, and create repeating patterns using a variety of different tiles.

One of the key improvements to this latest version of Fusion is the ‘User Defined Themes' feature, allowing the designer's favourite styles to be saved and then re-used in future room designs.

Fusion software is renowned for its superior graphics and exceptional presentation quality and behind this lies a sophisticated pricing mechanism and wide range of quotation tools to aid the sales and ordering process.

Commenting on the improved software, Managing Director Craig Rothwell says: "At Planit Fusion, standing still is not an option; we are constantly looking at ways we can improve our software offering. We have listened to feedback from our customers to introduce a whole raft of new features and enhancements with version 16, which we know will help to make the design process smoother than ever."

Fusion supported customers receive extensive technical support, backed by a series of specialist training courses and seminars as part of the new Fusion Care programme, enabling users to maximise the return on their Fusion investment.
