Success in the important bedroom market sector

When we first launched our own brand bedroom range a little over three years ago we were very confident that this sector of the market would enjoy success – and we were right.

With the growing trend for smaller bedrooms and consequent increasingly restricted storage space, the potential for growth in this sector is encouraging. The ratio of bedrooms to kitchens is three to one, so there is the opportunity for retailers to sell three bedrooms to the same consumer.

When deciding which bedroom range to display, it is important to choose one which offers a comprehensive and well formulated choice of designs which can be used to maximise available room space. A competitive pricing structure is also an important factor. Retailers should seek out a range designed to help them increase turnover through volume, as well as margins.

If retailers are able to combine all these factors then they will certainly enjoy success in this important market sector.
