When a small space is the only thing preventing a dream bathroom, just use some creative imagination

We all like to think we know what the customer wants but of course each customer is different and all have to be treated as individuals with differing needs, wants and the two very important factors bathroom size and budget.

Everyone has an opinion on ‘the bath' and it is an easy leading question to ask - "What would your dream bath be?" It is a good starting point and straight away you get the answers you want with - wider, longer, corner, spa, showerbath etc. In some recent research Ideal Bathrooms asked "If money was no object what features would your ideal bathroom have?"

  • 30% of people questioned dreamed of a spa/whirlpool bath.
  • 10% of people actually requested a separate shower and bath.
  • 9% would like a bigger bath.

We cannot order bigger bathrooms for everyone but we can make dream bathrooms for many people without it costing a fortune. Spa baths requested by 30% interviewed can be fitted into a standard sized bath at a reasonable cost and many bathrooms can take a slightly wider or longer bath.

If the bathroom is too small why not suggest turning the bathroom into one big wet room with powerful shower, double basins and bidet and a hot tub outside in the garden - everything anyone could want -perfect!
