Hansgrohe, the world’s largest shower producer, exhibited once again at ISH and showcased launches from all three brands: Hansgrohe, Axor and Pharo, with the wellbeing brand, Pharo, this year playing a starring role.
UNIQUE IN FORM AND FUNCTION
Pharo SkyLine is a new shower panel with an unmistakable silhouette of the modern metropolis immortalised in its powerful and purposeful lines. Four different shower functions are hidden behind the surface of the SkyLine with a just gentle touch required on the panel to reveal each one via the hinged push-open mechanism.
SkyLine is a high-end shower system that sets new standards thanks to its unique interplay of design and sophisticated technology. The panel provides a large fold-out overhead shower, a second hide-away shower at shoulder level, five extremely flat body sprays and a stick hand shower. For added comfort there is also a foot rest to make caring for the feet and legs more comfortable. The head and shoulder showers are equipped with Raindance AIR technology for exclusive showering pleasure, enveloping the user in a pleasant cloak of rain created by a mixture of air and water.
THE OTHER WAY TO SHOWER
Raindance Rainfall truly stands for the enjoyment of water in its most natural forms. This is ensured primarily by the 170mm wide concentrated torrent spray “Rain Splash” gushing out of the showerhead like a deluge in the great outdoors, pouring down to refresh the showerer.
Raindance Rainfall is the first horizontal, multifunctional shower panel in the world with this torrent spray mode – a totally new archetype for overhead showers. Mounted flush against the wall without the protruding arm typical of conventional overhead showers, the extremely flat, rectangular panel projects into the space, captivating with its elegantly slim form and subdued styling. Three spray modes are provided: Rain AIR - a voluminous aerated spray from the 24cm diameter spray disc, Rain Whirl - with four powerful rotating whirl-massage sprays and the torrential, back-tonature Rain Splash.
MAXIMISING MINIMALISM
When designing the Axor Starck X collection, Philippe Starck took his stripped-down, no-frills approach in a new direction and revised the term minimalism. The precision of the base unit’s form lends the design a lightness and elegant character. The sculpturelike, geometric design of the Axor Starck X Electronic Mixer is equipped with an infrared sensor making it ideal for a touch-free basin environment. It projects out over the basin without an imposing air, and the water pours out in a torrent, similar to that of a waterfall, into the basin.
Thanks to these features, the Axor Starck X Electronic Mixer gives all bathrooms – whether public or private – that certain something. The infrared window is made of sapphire crystal, so it’s less sensitive to scratches and daylight than a plastic version. The mixer is available in different versions, powered either by battery or an electrical outlet, both with and without temperature regulation.
