The new floorstanding wash station combines an attractive and capacious basin made from glassed steel with storage, shelving and a towel rail. Alape's latest product release combines furniture and sanitaryware and would make a funky addition to any modern bathroom; but would be most suitable for those who desire the latest trends and cutting edge designs.

Measuring 1000mm wide x 900mm high x 375mm deep, the sit on basin rests on the furniture made from American Oak for its strength, durability and beauty. The functional ‘washstation' has push open doors and drawers ensuring that the wettest hands can open or close the unit by simply ‘pushing' with an arm or leg.

In addition, Metaphor offers an optional glass tray that sits onto the edge of the basin for additional storage space. An alternative option is a glass shelf that can be placed into the basin to act as a dynamic water fall; once the water hits the shelf it spreads out over its surface before flowing into the basin.

Metaphor is available with the basin positioned to the left or right with the towel rail fitted accordingly. The unit conceals all plumbing entirely, ensuring a seamless design.
